Gloomy Sunday was Ferland's first runner across the Channel when she arrived as a 20-1 chance for the Henry II Stakes at Sandown only to win nicely under Olivier Peslier.
The possibility of supplementing the four-year-old for the Gold Cup was mentioned at the time, but a new plan has been drawn out.
"She's running in the Goodwood Cup," Ferland said.
"She's very well, and because she travels well and there aren't many races for her at the distance, she could have two runs in England.
"There's also York at the end of August (Lonsdale Cup), as well as the Prix Kergorlay at Deaville in between.
"She will run in two of the three races, but we will definitely start at Goodwood."
