Ruby Walsh is raring to get back in the saddle at Limerick on Sunday when he returns from his latest injury.

The 12 times champion Irish jump jockey starts back with two rides over hurdles, both for Willie Mullins.

Walsh kicks off on Getareason in the Dunraven Adare Novice Hurdle and then partners Good Thyne Tara in the Maurice Powers Solicitors EBF Mares Hurdle.

He has been sidelined since taking a crashing fall at Killarney in August. He had not long returned from five months out with a broken leg sustained at the Cheltenham Festival.

"I had a lot of bruising to my ribs and vertebrae in my back and was in a brace for a couple of weeks," he told Paddy Power.

"It didn't come off until last week, so it took me a couple of days to get back riding out.

"The season is only starting but I've still missed plenty of winners and I much prefer to be riding than watching all the time.
