The going for the third day of the Ladbrokes St Leger Festival, Doncaster Cup Gentlemen's Day, remains good.

Roderick Duncan, Doncaster's Clerk of the Course, reported: "The going remains Good at the moment although I would expect there to be some good to firm in the going description by the time we start racing today.

"The forecast is for a dry day today.

"There is expected to be significant rainfall overnight, starting at midnight and going through to 8.00am on Saturday.

"Light rain is predicted up to 11.00am tomorrow and it should then be dry for Ladbrokes St Leger Day."

The GoingStick reading was 8.0 at 6.30am (compared to 7.6 on Thursday, 7.2 on Wednesday)
