South American star Furia Cruzada is one of 27 entries in the Coral Winter Derby at Lingfield on February 27.

Now with John Gosden, the five-year-old mare has won Group Ones on turf and dirt in Argentina and big prizes in her native Chile.

Champion trainer Gosden has also entered Maverick Wave and Tempus Temporis.

Sloane Avenue, narrowly defeated in the Godolphin Mile at the Dubai Carnival last year, has been given the option by Jeremy Noseda.

Complicit has been consistent for Paul Cole and he is another in the mix, with assistant trainer Oliver Cole saying: "Complicit is in good shape. Going into his last race, we thought we had him about 85 per cent fit and he has definitely come on for that at home.

"He is going to run in the Winter Derby Trial a week on Saturday and we expect him to be spot on. He is working very well and has definitely improved a few lengths.

"We had him gelded before his last run because he can be a bit free in his races. It seems to have helped because he switched off well last time.
